About Brews, Blues and BBQ
The Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Yuba City is hosting its 23rd annual Brews, Blues & BBQ.
There will be over 30 micro brews, water, Pepsi, wine, amazing live music all evening and your meal is Included in your ticket price. You can have your choice of a half slab of St Louis style BBQ ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, or a 10" personal gourmet pizza, a tri-tip sandwich with coleslaw, beans, and bread, and of course domestic beer & micro brews, wine, soda, and water.

The date is August 23rd, 2025, 4-8 p.m. at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds. Tent and RV camping is available at the fairgrounds for an additional fee and is available by contacting the Fairgrounds at 530-674-1280.
All proceeds go to Early Risers Kiwanis children’s programs. Get your tickets at the Happy Viking, Beach Hut Deli, and online at EVENTBRIGHT, or by calling Tom Walther at 530-218-3847.
Music
Music will be performed live on the stage from 5-8pm and the dance floor will be rocking and available to all guests.
Food
Your meal is Included in your ticket price. You can have your choice of a half slab of St Louis style BBQ ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, or a 10" personal gourmet pizza, a tri-tip sandwich with coleslaw, beans, and bread
Drinks
There will be over 30 micro brews, water, Pepsi, wine. Unlimited samples will be provided until 8:00pm.

Who are the Early Riser Kiwanis of Yuba City?
The Kiwanis Club of Early Risers of Yuba City was established June 10th, 1971. We take pride in our ability to assist our local community. Each year we donate over $50,000.00 dollars to miscellaneous charities and we actively provide services for several organizations.
Our primary fundraising event is Brews, Blues & BBQ. Every year we raise enough money to fund multiple children's projects, scholorships and provide so many other great opportunities to the youth in our community.
The Early Risers Kiwanis Club sponsors both the River Valley High School Key Club and the Sutter High Key Club.
Our Causes
Kiwanis members’ activities support the Kiwanis causes:

Health and nutrition.

Education and literacy.

Youth leadership development.
Together, these causes form a continuum of impact — helping young people develop throughout childhood and into adulthood. Each cause also supports the others, ultimately creating a generation of leaders who also contribute to that continuum.
Service Leadership Programs
The Kiwanis family includes members of all ages and abilities. In addition to Kiwanis clubs for adults who serve kids, we offer Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs. Our SLPs are Key Club International for high school students, Circle K International for college and university students, K-Kids for elementary school students, Builders Club for middle school students and Aktion Club for adults with disabilities.
